Should I Tip My Pet Sitter & Dog Walker

This topic comes up quite frequently as there isn’t a one-size-fits-all answer. Gratuity and tips aren’t expected by pet sitters and dog walkers, but it’s truly appreciated and extremely flattering. Tipping could include anything food, gift cards, picture of your pets, handwritten notes and of course, financial compensation.

  • How was your pet and your home when they came back
  • Did you feel they did a wonderful job

Just like any service, tipping is a sign of gratitude. If you’re leaving a monetary tip, most sitters prefer cash, however, you may also leave a tip for your sitter at any time through your invoice in Time To Pet client portal.
